Azure Platform Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Azure Platform Engineer to join our team at Cloud Decisions. As a key member of our cloud-first strategy, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Azure platform, ensuring efficient and secure operations at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop Azure IaaS solutions, including virtual machines, networking, and storage.
  • Manage Azure PaaS offerings, such as Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Logic Apps, and Azure SQL Database, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Implement Cloud-Native practices to modernize and streamline platform management and service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, enabling continuous integration and smooth deployment of services.
  • Define and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methodologies, with expertise in BICEP for all cloud infrastructure provisioning.
  • Ensure platform security and compliance by leveraging Azure's security tools and best practices, including Azure Security Center and Azure Policy.
Requirements:
  • In-depth experience with Azure IaaS, including VMs, storage, and networking.
  • Hands-on expertise in Azure PaaS services, including but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Proficiency in Cloud-Native design principles, including microservices architecture and containerization.
  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and management.
  • Strong experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), with BICEP as a mandatory skill.
  • Solid understanding of Azure security tools and best practices, ensuring robust governance and compliance across the platform.
