Senior Azure Platform Engineer

Cloud Decisions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Azure Platform Engineer to join our technology division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Go, Bash, or Python to streamline deployment and testing processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure.
  • Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure seamless integration with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language, preferably PowerShell, but also Go, Bash, or Python.
  • Strong understanding of ARM and Bicep, with experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
