Our client, a global law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employment Partner to join their team in London. The firm advises clients on compliance with employment-related statutes and regulations. They emphasise a preventative approach, providing practical and defensible counsel to help clients minimise workplace conflicts and avoid costly litigation.


Responsibilities:


  • Advise clients on the preparation of employee handbooks, personnel policies, and employment agreements.
  • Conduct investigations into employee misconduct and ensure compliance with statutory protections for disabled employees.
  • Litigate employment disputes, including discrimination, wrongful discharge, and enforcement of restrictive covenants, in state and federal courts.
  • Design and conduct training programs on workplace issues such as diversity, harassment prevention, and wage and hour compliance.
  • Provide counsel on employment issues in corporate transactions, including compliance with plant closing regulations and enforcement of restrictive covenants.


Qualifications:


  • Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in employment law.
  • Proven track record of managing complex employment litigation.
  • Expertise in advising on compliance with UK and EU employment regulations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team of attorneys.
  • Excellent client relationship management and business development skills.
  • Ability to provide practical, business-focused legal advice.
