The Stock Movements/Accuracy Co-ordinator is responsible for running a small team within our Distribution Centre to maintain a high level of stock accuracy during counting and stock movements.

You’ll oversee all outbound DC stock movements whilst working collaboratively with Team Managers in the Intake and Wholesale DC to improve stock accuracy across all sites, and to minimise impacts to the customer experience and warehouse productivity.

Please note that this role is based within our Distribution Centre at Cardrew Industrial Estate, Redruth, working 1:30pm-10pm Tuesday-Saturday.

You’ll help us by:

You’ll co-ordinate daily stock control workload including the main tasks of replenishment and cycle counting, ensuring all stock movements within the DC are completed in an efficiently manner according to the SOP’s. In addition, you’ll ensure all stock moved from the Intake DC to the outbound DC is accounted for and put away according to priorities.

You’ll maintain the launch aisle to ensure stock it is cleared down to make room for new launch stock and communicate with the branch merchandising team when item coverage isn’t set. Reporting unjustified pick-fails generated by pickers to the appropriate teams, you’ll identify common causes of inaccuracy and work with the management team to amend warehouse processes to prevent their reoccurrence.

An excellent leader, you’ll maintain high visibility on the shop floors on a daily basis to engage with the team. You’ll monitor team KPI’s, support with training and work with the DC leadership team to identify methods to motivate the team, ensuring praise and recognition where due is celebrated and encouraged, and supporting the team to reach their potential.
