A key client of Intaso’ s are looking to recruit a Cyber Presales Consultant to join the team in a period of growth. This opportunity is a hybrid role from their office in Chippenham. Below Is a summary of the role.


Requirements

  • Act as a SME on cybersecurity, the current threat landscape, and stay updated with trends and innovations in the security industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand customer needs and objectives. Lead the process of designing and reviewing solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Deliver strategic whiteboarding sessions to develop and implement security strategies. Ensure a strong focus on protecting an organization's technology infrastructure and data from cyber-attacks.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation to support the improvement of a customer’s security estate, serving as a resource for general advice and guidance.
  • Deliver technical training and enablement sessions to sales teams, partners, and customers, empowering stakeholders with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively position and/or sell cybersecurity offerings.
  • Engage, alongside account managers, with customers to address technical challenges, provide solution recommendations, and overcome obstacles. Build strong relationships with customers based on trust, credibility, and expertise, with a focus on key enterprise accounts.
  • Proactively collaborate with the wider pre-sales team where a link to cybersecurity is required (e.g., cloud, networking teams). Build relationships with sales, product managers, engineers, and service desk teams to drive overall business success in security.


Experience

  • Over 2 years of experience in a pre-sales or similar role within a managed service provider (MSP) or reseller organization. Previous experience in or collaboration with incident response teams is beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of incident response stages and handling is preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with endpoint detection and threat management products.
  • Good knowledge and awareness of global information security standards, including ISO27002, CIS, NCSE CAF, and NIST CSF.
  • Advisor in advanced cybersecurity services, including SSE, SASE, SIEM, and MDR/EDR.
  • Experience with security frameworks and/or market-leading solutions (preferred).
  • Experience in recommending and designing solutions to meet compliance guidelines.
  • Certifications in leading market solutions (advantageous).
