Fit-Out Manager

Henry Martin are partnered with a strong Residential Main Contractor to source a strong fit-out manager for a high-end residential new build in Central London. This contractor typically delivers schemes ranging from £50Mil upto £220Mil. These projects are typically residential dwellings, student accommodations and hotels.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record delivering high-end residential internal packages
  • Ability to take projects from the RC frame's completion through to client handovers
  • Working at tier 1 / tier 2 main contractors or fit-out businesses
  • A carpentry/drylining background is preferred but not essential
  • SMSTS & CSCS


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate with design and commercial teams but most importantly sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure that all fit-out requirements are met according to the project specifications.
  • Manage the fit-out budget, including tracking expenses, negotiating contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee the scheduling and sequencing of fit-out activities to ensure that the project is completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality of work, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the fit-out process, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Communicate regularly with key stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and subcontractors, to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.
  • Ensure that all fit-out work meets the highest standards of quality, craftsmanship, and design, in line with the expectations of a high-end residential project.
  • Stay current on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to fit-out construction, and make recommendations for improvements or enhancements to the project.
