We're seeking a Senior Sales and Account Manager to drive our ambitious expansion plans across the on-trade sector in the North West and beyond.


In this dynamic role, you'll get to build the regional account base through a blend of new business acquisition and excellent relationship management. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you'll devise creative strategies to get our innovative cocktail range stocked in bars, pubs and restaurants. From planning sales visits and showcasing the products, to processing orders and providing training - you'll own the entire sales cycle.

The key responsibilities of the Senior Sales and Account Manager role at Riverbank Distillery include:


- Researching and identifying target on-trade establishments (bars, pubs, restaurants) to sell the company's range of ready-to-drink cocktails, starting locally and then expanding further afield.

- Planning and visiting target establishments, showcasing the product range through demonstrations, and processing new accounts/orders.

- Meeting monthly targets for new accounts created and sales within those accounts.

- Retaining and growing the existing customer base by maintaining strong business relationships and managing all aspects of new accounts.

- Providing regular contact, training, point-of-sale support, and promotional updates to accounts.

- Tracking all client communications and visit details in a CRM system.

- Working closely with the production team on sales forecasts.

- Representing the company professionally and approachably in the market.

- Understanding market trends, competitors, and key drivers to keep the company relevant.

- Supporting trade events and exhibitions.


The key requirements and skills needed include:


- Natural brand ambassador with a charismatic, enthusiastic personality suited for field sales.

- Specialist knowledge of the drinks industry, products, and on-trade market.

- Extensive sales experience in the industry and ability to close sales and manage client relationships.

- Proven ability to hit sales targets.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Self-motivation, time management, and organizational skills.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, CRM software, and other computer applications.

- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

- Belief in and passion for the company's products.

- Full clean UK driving license, over 18 years old, based in Greater Manchester/Cheshire/North West area.

- Established network of contacts within the drinks industry.

- At least 5 years of sales experience.

- Access to own vehicle (preferred).
