Claims Operations Manager - Contract - London (2-3 days onsite)


My Insurance client is seeking a seasoned Claims Operations Consultant for an initial 3-6 month placement, with high potential for extension, to support and enhance the ongoing operations for a key client of their boutique consultancy.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert support to enhance the client's business-as-usual (BAU) offerings in Claims.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and drive an improvement program tailored to the client’s needs.
  • Work closely with the Claims team to understand business requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Offer guidance and oversight to junior team members, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Assist in recruiting efforts to build a robust Claims function.
  • Serve as a reliable interim asset, focusing on both immediate operational needs and strategic planning for future business alignment.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Claims operations, ideally within a consultancy or insurance environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Capacity to mentor and oversee junior staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt and provide solutions in a dynamic environment.
