Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated M&A Analyst for a 3-month contract to join this dynamic team. The successful candidate will focus on equity transactions and M&As, providing critical support and insights to our clients and internal teams. This role demands a thorough understanding of macro-trends and industry verticals, exceptional financial modelling skills, and the ability to efficiently coordinate among various stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on equity transactions and M&A activities across various sectors, leveraging in-depth knowledge of macro-trends and industry verticals.
  • Engage in extensive client communications and market coverage to gather and analyse relevant data.
  • Quickly comprehend novel concepts in cutting-edge sectors, efficiently interpreting business fundamentals and extracting underlying logics.
  • Develop and maintain solid financial models to support transaction analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Act as an efficient coordinator among different stakeholders, including corporates, investors, professional parties, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Provide analytical support and insights to assist in the execution of M&A deals and equity transactions.
  • Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and documentation to support client engagements and internal reviews.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in M&A, equity transactions, or a related field within a global broking or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of macro-trends, industry verticals, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent financial modelling capabilities and the ability to quickly interpret and analyse complex financial data.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, investors, and internal teams.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline; advanced degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
