Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst to join our team at Intesa Sanpaolo Group. As a key member of our corporate finance team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials, gathering public information, and analyzing company performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation of marketing pitchbooks and related materials under the supervision of senior team members;
  • Gather public information through numerous sources and analyze company performance on an absolute and relative basis;
  • Lead valuation work under different methodologies, ensuring financial models are robust and accurate;
  • Assist senior team members in the execution of deals and liaise with clients when required;
  • Manage and provide training/guidance to Analysts and Interns.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar M&A role within an investment bank, Big-4, M&A boutique/consultancy;
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong knowledge in Corporate Finance and Accounting analysis;
  • Strong knowledge and application skills of the main company valuation methods (DCF, LBO analysis, Multiples);
  • Language skills: fluency in English essential;
  • Right to work in the UK;
  • Distinctive relational skills, both independent and team worker;
  • Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail;
  • High and constant motivation and reliability;
  • Pragmatic, problem-solving approach; autonomy and possess speed of learning and application;
  • Ability to work well in a high-pressure environment and to tight deadlines.
