Sales Executive - Reporting into: Head of Events/Sales Director

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Executive at Social Pantry in London. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and building client relationships. The Sales Executive will also be responsible for developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets set by the company.


Responsailbities

  • The first point of contact for all for Social Pantry enquiries.
  • Ensure all inbound enquiries dealt with promptly.
  • Collate key client details to process enquiries in preparation for handover to planning and workplace team.
  • Liaise with and keep planning team and senior event staff appraised on inbound leads.
  • Keep sales records updated and manage data input from inbound leads and existing clients.
  • Proactively in engaging previous clients when not dealing with inbound leads.
  • Maintain contact with existing clients, following up routinely to ensure they are kept
  • informed on company updates and to keep updated on their plans for future events.
  • To be proactive andreactive to newsales enquiries.
  • To have a clear understanding ofthemonthly salestargets.
  • Aware of all spend budgets when liaising with clients.
  • Support management with benchmarking competitors and understand where Social Pantry sits within the competition.
  • Support wider sales team with reporting.

  • Take an active interest in Social Pantry, the progress, market growth and positioning of the company.
  • Go above and beyond to always support and help other team members.
  • Always work ethically and as a team member.
  • To always work honestly and with the interest of Social Pantry and the team.
  • Support and uphold Social Pantry’s sustainability policies.
  • Enact and oversee environmental responsibilities where required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the catering or events industry is a plus
  • Experience in sustainability or social impact is a plus
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality or a related field is preferred
