MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:


We are looking for an experienced IT Manager who will directly manage and ensure correct functionality of the Information Technology and ancillary systems for Soul Foods Group UK as well as managing its vendors, franchisors and the IT requirements of the business.

This role will report directly to the UK General manager and in liaison with the Group CIO, General Manager and Brand Operations Directors, the IT Manager will be responsible for participating in strategic planning and execution of IT projects and upgrades.


This role will be office based in Rickmansworth and will require travel to our stores and restaurants across England when needed.


YOU WILL DO*:

  • In cooperation with Operations Directors and the CIO, develop IT Policies and Procedures and cascade to the Business and Operations Teams, strategically plan and goal set for the department and the IT function within the wider business.
  • Build and maintain a relationship with Third Party IT functions and service providers to ensure quality and cost effectiveness of systems to limit down time and hold those accountable for SLA’s and KPI’s as per contractual agreements.
  • Work with all departments, stores and leadership to ensure systems are fully operational, act as a point of contact for all IT related issues and concerns and work closely with the Development Project Team on IT requirements for new builds and renovations to ensure standard is maintained throughout the business.
  • Research new and alternative IT technologies to determine feasibility and impact that meet the needs of the organisation according to defined business objectives then propose solutions and manage contract negotiations.


WHAT YOU WILL NEED:


  • Proven work experience and training as an IT Manager or similar is essential
  • A collaborator that demonstrates initiative, is resourceful and helpful to others.
  • Educated to Degree level is an advantage
  • 5+ years Project Management Experience
  • Previous experience in QSR/café sector is desirable
  • Knowledge of Financial Systems and Reporting Tools such as Sage and Ezora or similar.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including experience with virtualization, Microsoft Cloud, Microsoft Azure environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of project management software tools and applications
  • Superior interpersonal & communication skills with supportive capacity and ability to build personal rapport with all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent literacy, numeracy skills, skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate confidently, clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Proof of right to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis - we do not provide sponsorship at this time
  • Full UK Driving Licence
