Programme Centre of Excellence Specialist


Public sector organisation seeks a project management specialist to join their team as a Programme Centre of Excellence Specialist. This post is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract.


In this role, you will contribute to the success of multiple projects in a busy and dynamic working environment. You will work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, building relationships and championing best practice.


The position would be ideally suited to a project professional with strong stakeholder management skills who is motivated to facilitate efficient and effective project delivery. It is offered on a hybrid working basis with two days a week in the office in Birmingham.


What’s involved:

  • Review business cases and advise on the risks associated
  • Develop and nurture collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Identify stakeholders, their interests, and potential impacts
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement and communication
  • Ensure stakeholders are informed about timelines, messages, and submissions


About you:

  • Experience in a Project Management related role
  • Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Visio
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
