About the role

We have an exciting opportunity available at AXA Global Healthcare as a Finance Planning & Analysis Manager, to support our strategy of the IPMI division & Exec Committee through control, reporting and analysis of business and financial information. You'll track and report against budgets and forecasts, develop new insight and analysis, with strong financial controls and governance in place.

What you'll be doing:

Lead the development and delivery of monthly and quarterly financial results across the IPMI division for the IPMI Executive Committee to support decision making.
Develop key performance indicators to bring new insight and challenge to key stakeholders.
Deliver robust and timely business analysis for the monthly and quarterly business reviews across the IPMI division, including pricing, distribution, servicing , marketing and projects.
Lead on the identification , coordination and delivery of deep dive topics, through close monitoring of trends and discussions with key stakeholders.
Advise on the consolidation of financial plans and forecasts, working closely with key stakeholders and finance business partners to ensure robust analysis, accurate submissions, with clear and insightful documentation.
Develop and maintain a central repository of key financial metrics across the IPMI division, including plans, forecasts and actual results.
Provide financial and business knowledge and expertise to support the strategic agenda across the IPMI division.
Drive market and competitor financial insight, closely monitoring market trends and bring insight to inform strategic developments.

About you

What we’re looking for:

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with extensive practical post qualification experience in a similar role.
Suitable experience at a senior level within an insurance organisation or relevant experience to an equivalent level of competence.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver through others.
Relationship management and influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
Financial systems experience and knowledge.
Commercial acumen and strong analytical skills. Able to interpret complex information and identify implications for the business.
Ability to prioritise workloads and deliver under pressure.
Strong financial controls orientation and awareness of regulatory requirements.
Able to understand, analyse and provide insight for complex financial information.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
