Our client specializing in power protection and cooling products has an exciting new opportunity for a New Business Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. They are based in Alloa and this would be a hybrid position.

The New Business Sales Executive plays a pivotal role by driving growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities. This dynamic and client-focused position is central to expanding the company's reach across the power protection, cooling solutions, and IT services markets.

The role involves building and nurturing relationships with prospective clients in both the public and private sectors, ensuring a clear understanding of their unique requirements. By aligning customer needs with the company's extensive portfolio of products and services—including UPS systems, cooling solutions, and maintenance plans—the New Business Sales Executive directly contributes to the company's reputation for delivering tailored and reliable solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation: Proactively sourcing and developing new business leads through networking, research, and industry events.
  • Sales Strategy: Managing the entire sales cycle, from initial prospecting to closing deals, while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Client Engagement: Conducting client meetings, site surveys, and presentations to identify challenges and offer customised solutions.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with internal teams, including engineering and customer support, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Market Awareness: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and advancements in power protection and cooling technologies to identify new opportunities.

This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills, alongside a proactive and results-driven attitude. A strong understanding of technical solutions, such as UPS and cooling systems, is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training is provided.

The New Business Sales Executive is instrumental in supporting ongoing growth and ensuring the company continues to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions while upholding its longstanding values of professionalism and excellence.
