Key Objectives:
As a primary contact for our retailer & brand owners, you will cultivate strong professional relationships with key stakeholders within our license & exclusive portfolio. In managing SLG's key accounts your role will be to identify, evaluate and conclude new business development opportunities. Driving sales and profit growth by working collaboratively with all stakeholders and SLG's cross functional teams to delivery successful & bespoke product collections in line with the company’s commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building & maintaining strong professional relationships with retailers & brands to articulate the credentials of SLG’s highly creative, effective, and innovative company and the services & benefits in partnership with SLG.
- Managing retailers & brands to successfully guide them through the development process and ensure that they are kept informed of all relevant development information and stakeholders are managed effectively & in line with the development CTP & Company’s commercial objectives. Foster a culture of trust with excellent communication and regular review meetings to build strong rapport & networks.
- Accountable for driving sales growth to deliver annual brand/account sales targets through proactively seeking and drive new business opportunities to deliver incremental sales. Understanding market landscape, competitor activity, retailer strategies to leverage existing and create new opportunities.
- Building robust commercial ranges for all bespoke developments. Through detailed analysis of sales performance, merchandising, and activation plans appropriate to each development to ensure they are fully optimised. Ensuring full evaluation of effectiveness to drive change to future & business considerations.
- Responsible for maximising profitability of the individual product lines & collections overall through detailed and precise commercial control achieved through close collaboration with the internal projective teams, and strong retailer negotiation to ensure both SLG targets and retailer expected margins are achieved.
- Responsible for the administrative and management of the accounts including the preparation and management of working line lists, pricing & NLF management of product lines.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Significant experience within an Account Manager sales role with a proven track record to demonstrate success within business development.
- Experience within FMCG, with Health & Beauty industry experience desirable
- Mathematically astute with high standard of written and verbal English language
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

- Expertise in managing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers and internal teams to foster long term partnerships.
- Proven track record of securing new business opportunities with a strategic approach to expanding SLG’s licence & exclusive business.
- Consistently maintaining professional demeanour, exhibiting optimism and enthusiasm that fosters a collaborative work environment.
- Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast paced and changing environment, thriving in dynamic and high intensity situations whilst maintaining focus on objectives.
- Effective analytical ability & commercial awareness to recognise & evaluate the potential and viability of new opportunities, utilising data to inform decision making process.
- Strong negotiation, influencing & presentation skills.
- Exemplary account management & customer servicing skills
