The Role
UK & International Equity & Fixed Income Settlements & Trade Support Analyst
Martis Search are representing London based Investment Bank to hire an experienced “UK & International Equity & Fixed Income Settlements Analyst”.
The role reports into their Head of Equity Operations and is a joint UK & International Equity & Fixed Income Settlements & Middle Office role.
Their client base are made up of solely Institutional clients such as global Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, Asset Managers etc.
The reason for the role is due to growth in the business, meaning a new permanent headcount has arisen.
Our client is looking for someone with a minimum of x 1-years UK & International Equity Settlements and/ or Middle Office experience gained from a “Sellside” (a reputable Institutional Equity trading focused) Investment Banking, or Brokerage experience.
Their working-from-home Vs in the office policy is at-this-moment-time a hybrid model.
Responsibilities:
- Trade Support/ Trade Matching/ Trade Confirmations
- Pre-matching & Settlement of both Client & Market Side Transactions for UK & International Equities
- Oversight for Fails Management
- Oversight for Corporate Action Processing
- Claims Management – Interest, Dividend, Stamp & CSDR
- Segregation of Client Money end of day check
- Monitoring and query investigation of cash and stock reconciliations outsourced to BPO.
- Resolve escalation queries and problems raised by Offshore team
- Pre-match & settle all transactions in a timely manner
- Settle all failed trades as soon as possible
- Oversee and provide SME expertise to investigate & resolve any discrepancies raised by the Offshore team for Stock & Cash Reconciliations. Provide daily approval and sign off.
- Monitor, investigate & resolve Corporate Action issues on a daily basis.
- Investigate or initiate, monitor & settle all claims in a timely manner
- Ensure Offshore team monitor and action all TE exceptions relating to Settlements daily
- Liaise with Traders to investigate & resolve any unmatched or failed trades
- Maintain good working relationships with clients, brokers, clearing agents & all internal departments
Salary:
£40,000 k pa - £60,000 k pa dependent upon experience, plus bonus, pension, healthcare etc.
