Stock Controller


Salary - £25,000

Location - Cardiff


Analyse stock data to ensure the timely availability of the correct parts for resolving service calls by actively monitoring requests and identifying alternative solutions when necessary.


  • Database Management: Maintain an up-to-date parts database to ensure comprehensive information for accurate identification in line with business needs.
  • Stock Coordination: Collaborate with the service delivery team to ensure parts are stocked according to required specifications.
  • Inventory Monitoring: Track part requirements to maintain adequate stock levels for fulfilling requests efficiently.
  • Alternative Solutions: Identify and implement alternative solutions or utilize forward stock locations as necessary.
  • Daily Analysis Reporting: Generate and distribute a daily analysis of outstanding parts.
  • Purchasing Coordination: Oversee spare parts purchasing as required to resolve Break-fix outstanding calls.
  • Operational Updates: Communicate with operational teams to obtain updates on all outstanding calls, including accurate promise dates and customer-owned stock availability
  • Weekly Meetings: Organise and lead weekly meetings with relevant departments to review outstanding parts.
  • Annual Stock Reviews: Conduct annual stock reviews for forward stock locations to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Handle ad hoc ticket requests as needed.
