Duration: 16 weeks

Pay Rate: £18PH

Are you an experienced Banksman looking for your next opportunity? Foundation Personnel is seeking a skilled Banksman to join our team in Thornhill, Dumfries. This role involves safely directing and banking plant equipment on a busy construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely banking and directing plant machinery, including cranes, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
  • Ensuring clear communication with plant operators to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Assisting in coordinating site logistics to optimize efficiency and safety.
  • Conducting regular safety checks and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Banksman or Traffic Marshal certification.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a construction environment.
  • Strong understanding of site safety procedures and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
