We will carefully match you to our clients, in your local community, and you will support them to live happy, independent lives by providing:
Companionship and help around the home Preparation and support with meals Prompting and assisting your client with their medication Supporting with personal care and to get dressed Social visits and support with appointments and shopping tripsHome Instead provides a minimum of 1-hour visits. This time ensures you are able to establish meaningful relationships with your client and mean you can make a real difference every day.
As a Care Professional at Home Instead you will receive:
Excellent rates of pay, £12 - £13.20 per hour, with guaranteed hours contracts to fit around your lifestyle Full or part-time hours available All visits are a minimum of an hour Paid mileage, 31p per mile Regular team meet-ups and social events Start your care career with us and benefit from award winning training, including Care Certification, City & Guilds Dementia Training and Parkinson’s Disease specialist training Access to Home Instead Benefits
Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required however previous experience in a health and social care, or a customer service role is beneficial. We will provide all the training required for the position.
You must have good people skills, be calm and able to adapt your approach to the meet the needs of the clients. A willingness to learn is also essential for the role of a Care Professional as each client is different and no two days are exactly the same.
