The role
As a Network Technician, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. This role provides a variety of engineering challenges, with no two days the same. Operating across a range of capabilities and skill sets, providing an improved customer service across the technical engineering disciplines.

Day-to-day, you’ll be part of the team providing bespoke / niche electronic engineering systems into the customers portfolio of capabilities as well as:

System commissioning (electrical, electronic, data, fibre, radio frequency) Providing technical liaison, advice, and guidance to the customer Monitoring of compliance (CE / CA marking or systems and postproduction) Acting as technical author, capturing requirements to produce documentation including universal reliability definition (URD) Supporting product development and future enhancement of capabilities 


This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and is based on site at Ashchurch.


Essential experience of the Network Technician 

Linux administration and Virtualisation Management (VMWare) Networking – working towards CCNA  Radio Frequency (RF) fundamentals Good technical reporting skills both written and verbal  Electronics engineering with ability to undertake reverse engineering tasks CE / CA Marking of productised platforms

Qualifications for the Network Technician 

HNC or HND in Electrical / Electronic Engineering Data and fibre communications principals City and Guilds - Communications Cabling and Networks
