Key duties and responsibilities:
Accountable to the VP, Supply Land Europe to ensure optimal, safe and efficient planning and delivery across the national depot network and for our customers in line with our commercial ambitions.Leadership of the depot network, including the drivers and vehicles ensuring an optimal capacity is available to the business for delivery of fuel to customers.Leadership of the logistics pillar, ensuring the daily plan is developed in a timely manner, and is optimized for deliveryEnsure regular, daily communication between the planning and operations team to produce and agree the most effective daily resource plan.Ensuring appropriate and regular communication with the sales team to support daily demand versus capacity.Responsible for creating the annual operational budget by depot, coordinating with Supply, Sales & Finance, and ensuring the national network remains at or under budgetAccountable for systems deployment and maximization in order to maintain efficiency and continuously review and improve serviceResponsible for developing and maintaining a stable industrial relations context, in partnership with HR, including attendance of union meetings and any negotiation.Strong communication between Operations and the HSSEQ, Technical, Finance & HR functions ensuring the operational team are supported in their daily activities.Accountable for stock management (gains & losses) across the depot and vehicle fleet network.Accountable for adherence to agreed internal KPIs, including HSE and operational metrics across national depot network and planning teamsAttend management meetings, representing the Land Operations UK business and presenting to SVP’s and above.Provide the Operations team with suitable daily routine creating efficient and effective processes enabling a high performance most cost effectively.Supporting the European Land fuel business with operational requirement, as necessary.PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):
Essential
