International Nurses Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCE) Programme

APPLICATIONS FOR THIS PROGRAMME ARE CLOSED

Our OSCE training programme is one of the pathways to joining our team as an internationally trained nurse who needs to go through the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration process to obtain a license to practice in the United Kingdom.

Internationally trained nurses who wish to advance their careers in the UK can join us on this structured intensive programme of teaching and assessments that gets them ready to undertake part two of the NMC Test of Competence (ToC).

Our OSCE programme delivers modules through a blend of face-to-face teaching and practical experience. Candidates are supported by a team of highly skilled and dedicated clinical educators and will learn, practice and be assessed on various skills and competencies in the NMC UK part two ToC (OSCE).

This intensive programme is four weeks long and supports international nurses to learn and practice, and be assessed in a simulated mock environment similar to that of the test centres. They will then be booked to take their exams in their fourth week of learning and practice, supported by a member of the clinical education team.

Assessment criteria will be the fundamental assessment tool used for the training, with a combination of live actors and simulation manikins.
