Job Title: Internal Sales Representative

Division : Weir Minerals

Location: Onsite, Rochdale

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Weir Minerals Europe’s Sales Operations Team are looking to appoint an Internal Sales Representative to join their office Internal Sales Team reporting to the Regional lead. The successful candidate will provide a proactive service to external customers ensuring all inquiries and orders are promptly and satisfactory dealt with.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Compliance to WME standard operating procedures and WM Pricing Policy Handling customer requests in a professionally and timely manner Accurate maintenance of Salesforce opportunities Processing quotations and orders within 24 hours Follow up quotations Clean order entry and handover to Supply Chain Efficient and accurate processing of order amendments Strong orderbook management to support on time delivery, including date and block management Issuing regular orderbook updates to our key accounts Work alongside the Supply Chain team to ensure customers receive pro-active progress updates Improve customer relationships Track critical customer orders and orderbooks with support from Supply Chain  Work in partnership with other WME Departments to deliver excellent customer service and determine solutions to delight our customers Make sure customer complaints are dealt with in a timely manner – CMR /DMR processing Support continuous development and improvement of processes Support adoption of new process, guide and teach your colleagues Support system driven processes and global standardisation Improve the quality of our Customer Master Data Debtor management Proforma invoice / DPR – billing plans Support in quotes & orders service Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

JOB KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Setting the right priorities and being able to adjust when needed Comfortable working in a challenging environment Experience within a customer focused sales role is essential Dynamic approach with good communication skills (written and verbal) Commercially minded, supporting profitability Computer literacy – working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems (i.e. SAP, Salesforce) Team player yet self-motivated Ability to work on own initiative and focus to accuracy Contribute to a positive working environment

COMPENSATION:
