We are seeking to

appoint Assistant   Director's of Achievement  to support our Director's of Achievement to drive improvements in academic performance through the identification and provision of appropriate academic interventions to tackle underperformance, to provide high quality pastoral support, ensuring high attendance and good punctuality and to improve the behaviour and culture of specific year groups.

The role will involve supporting the pastoral welfare of students and be available to students (and parents) in a designated key stage throughout the day. They will support with rewards, consequences system and the integration of SEND, Safeguarding, Pastoral Support Plans, be ‘on-call’ to support teachers in the classroom, supervise students in ICE and ALTEX, the school’s internal reflection rooms and establish positive relationships with students, parents, staff and external agencies in line with the school’s vision and values.

We are looking for candidates who have experience of working in a pastoral role within a secondary education setting who can demonstrate experience of successfully raising student academic performance and achievement and driving improvements in behaviour, culture, and attendance within a school.
