What’s the Role: Support Worker

What It Takes:

An important part of the staff role is to support our service users who have complex needs and help them to manage their emotions.

So the ability to be resilient, to communicate effectively and to utilise a variety of communication tools is essential.

Our dedicated staff team support our service users to learn and develop their independence skills which includes tasks such as shopping, cleaning their flat, personal care, accessing the community, budgeting, taking medication. Each staff member has something to bring to the role and we encourage staff to use their humour and sense of fun and creativity in supporting our service users with day to day life.

Where You Would Work: Kesh Supported Living Services

Kesh supported living services cover 2 facilities in the rural area of Kesh.

All schemes are bespoke, tailored services that aim to enhance the quality of life and independence of all individual service users.

We promote person centred support and we aspire to uphold services users’ choices, wishes, and rights by striving to empower each individual service user to be part of their own community. 

We provide in‐house day opportunities, community outings, shopping trips, overnight holidays and a range of other activities of choice.

Support Worker |

Full and part time positions available |

* £ 21,557 per annum

*Salary based on 39 hours per week. Where the role requires sleep-ins, a minimum additional payment of £45.00 per night applies.
