Who we are looking for:
To be a successful member of our team you must have:

Experience of working with people on the autism spectrum within a professional capacity Be able to work within a set schedule (Saturday once a month (15.15 - 17.15)(Once a month face to face in Godalming once a month virtually) Experience of working with people on the autism spectrum who also have mental health or learning difficulty needs or both Being able to provide group non therapeutic support to people on the autism spectrum Experience of using, applying and adapting autism specific approaches Work in a person-centred approach adapting your skills to the needs of the individuals Be prepared to be supervised in a peer-setting Be independent and able to work on your own and part of a team
Have a good understanding of Safeguarding issues Being able to travel to Godalming for occasional supervisions, trainings and meetings You will be working alongside other colleagues and with groups of people on the autism spectrum. You will be providing group support for the allocated area.
