Job Description: Teaching Assistant

I’m currently working with a close-knit, friendly school in Basingstoke (RG21) to recruit a Teaching Assistant for a Year 3 class. The role is temp to perm and is a great opportunity to make a lasting impact in the lives of young learners and contribute to their academic and personal growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups to help them with their academic work
  • Provide 1:1 support to with children with SEN & additional needs
  • Guided Reading
  • Model positive behaviour to children both inside and outside the classroom
  • Motivating and encouraging pupils
  • Create display boards to showcase high quality work
