Senior Business Development Manager – Home Based (covering North of England & Scotland) – ARD976721

We’re on the hunt for a talented Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Lorega Ltd. This pivotal role, reporting to our Director of Broker Relationships, offers the flexibility of being home based with the requirement of regularly travelling to meet with stakeholders across the North of England and Scotland. You will be responsible for delivering growth in sales of Lorega’s Loss Recovery Insurance products through existing and new broker agencies.
 

So, what does the role of a Senior Business Development Manager here involve? 

Promote Lorega’s range of claims assistance products to brokers in the North and Scotland region. Achieve an annual financial growth target, which forms part of the overall company financial budget. Support and develop existing broker relationships to retain existing revenue and increase policy sales. Prospecting activities to establish new broker relationships, leading to new policy sales. Regular contact with brokers through face-to-face meetings, video calls, phone calls and emails. Delivering training workshops to help brokers better understand the features and benefits of Lorega's products for their customers. Managing and handling broker queries in a professional and efficient manner. Participating in weekly Broker Relationships team update video calls and quarterly team meetings. Attendance, as required, at industry exhibitions, dinners and other corporate events, which could be anywhere in the UK, to increase the profile of the Lorega brand in the market. Working as part of a team and collaborating with colleagues. Keep abreast of industry issues and activity that will have an impact on brokers and their customers.

 
What are we looking for in our next Senior Business Development Manager? 

Previous experience of developing business with Insurance Brokers in the North of England and/or Scotland. Must have a full license and not be restricted from driving. Preferably ACII-qualified or making progress towards this qualification. A strong technical understanding of the Commercial Property Insurance market. Experience of delivering income targets.  Experience of supporting proposition development, in respect to products, services and/or client servicing propositions.  A confident public speaker, excellent presentation skills with an engaging style and confident presenting to audiences of different sizes.
