As part of this successful housing group, we are the innovative construction and trading business known as Three Sixty SHG Ltd. We have formed and grown since inception back in 2016, with a pipeline of capital works projects, new build and other external refurbishment & alterations projects. Three Sixty has the vision to design, build, refurbish and regenerate places to improve economic and social outcomes for people. 

We build, refurbish, maintain, manage and regenerate places to improve economic and social outcomes. We carry out work such as Social Housing Capital Works (Roofing, Fire Doors, Heating Systems), Maintenance, Facilities Management, Voids, Gas and Electrical Servicing. Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our team. 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to provide effective commercial delivery and cost control of projects from inception to completion, as well as tendering & estimating and project delivery. 

You will be involved in supply chain procurement, tendering and estimating, managing monthly project cost value reconciliation and cashflow reports. Along with this you will provide advice to the construction management team, ensuring the commercial targets are achieved; related to project cost, quality and programme. You will provide commercial expertise in the delivery of each contract and implement wherever possible value engineering solutions and strategy to optimise profit and efficiency for the business. 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Good understanding of the construction industry with extensive experience in a similar role preferably in Local Authority Housing and refurbishment. 
  • Provide Demonstrable commercial experience in Contract Administration and ability in financial planning and budget management. 
  • Demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. 
  • Provide evidence of having completed a registered training programme, or obtained a recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying, preferably at degree or MRICS level. 
  • Be adaptable to differing workloads and different work streams.
  • Demonstrate experience and knowledge to prepare estimates and tender documents for submission. 
  • Be capable of working to monthly deadlines for completion of interim payment applications.

This is a hands-on role, so we’re looking for a team player who can easily adapt to new priorities or projects, whilst meeting agreed deadlines. You’ll be keen to develop your skills and grow with the team and company, demonstrating patience and a positive approach to change.
