We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist to join the Mental Health team at Derwentside IRC, a female Immigration Removal Centre near Consett, County Durham

This is a brand new role, created due to the growth of the Psychology department - you can really make this role your own You will be working with the onsite Psychologist, and close knit mental health team. Derwentside IRC is a smaller centre, with capacity of 84, currently with 64 residents. This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. You will be working closely with the onsite Psychologist, offering vital support to your patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an everchanging, challenging environment, which is hugely rewarding Hours: This is a full time role, 37.5 hours per week, working Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00. Salary: This position is full time , you’ll receive an annual salary up to £30,660 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you?
