The Role holder will join our Wholesale Quality function to ensure the Company complies with the requirements of current Health, Safety and Fire legislation.
Promoting a culture of safety awareness across the PHOENIX Group, you will ensure preventative measures are in place to minimise operational losses caused by fire, accidents & injuries as well as occupational health issues. You will drive health, safety and fire compliance by delivering audits and providing feedback to minimise risk.
Who are we looking for?
A successful candidate will have a relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent) and will have previous experience in a similar Health & Safety position. We are looking for an organised and influential candidate with knowledge and experience from within a pharmaceutical or wholesale environment. Experience of audits, inspections and preparations to ensure compliance is essential and you will have excellent planning and time management skills along with a concern for order and quality.
This position will require you to provide H&S support and guidance to all PHOENIX locations with up to 4 days per week spent at our sites across the UK and Northern Ireland therefore extensive travel and overnight stays will be required - a full driving license is therefore essential.
