Do you have a knack for customer service, both face to face or over the phone, an eye for detail and the ability to learn and develop new skills?

Our trade counters team, based in Walthamstow , support a range of external customers with the supply of parts and systems, dispatching orders and dealing with queries, in person, over the phone and via email.

A job that matters: Your Tasks  

The Trade Counter Sales Assistant is responsible for providing the best customer experience.

As part of this team, the main responsibilities will include processing sales orders / returns and providing quotations, to offering technical advice to customers. You will learn and develop knowledge of a variety of products that we stock, so you can give support to customers, becoming a trusted adviser to these clients.

The work is split between face-to-face and the phone / email, so you need to be comfortable with all sorts of communication and administration. This needs someone with a confident and capable attitude who is also comfortable with contacting suppliers, order chasing and updating customers with the latest prices and availability.

Lastly this is a collaborative and supportive team. We are after someone who is a real team player, who is happy to help their colleagues such as giving support to our warehouse as required.

An experience that matters: Your Skills  

1-2 years of customer service / sales experience with excellent written & verbal communication skills. Computer literacy and proven ability / desire to learn and develop new skills. Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative, team environment.
