We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Support Engineer to join our great team based in Prestwick.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee all machinery and equipment TPM to drive maximum uptime and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Assist in the Co-ordination and management of all contractors during unplanned and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) ensuring full EH&S and Security compliance. Assist and support in all audits that require TPM compliance or any input of the Facilities function. Support and drive all sustainability initiatives within the facility. Input and monitor the Facility fault reporting system (SHIRE) closing out and updating on all reported faults. Proactively support and participate on the implementation of new facility projects. Support any after-hours building needs and activities as required. Ensure compliance with all Collins Aerospace policies and procedures inclusive of EH&S, Code of Ethics, Intellectual Property and ITC requirements.Basic Qualifications:
Strong understanding of building systems, engineering maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements Current possession of electrical 18th edition of the IET Wiring Regulations would be beneficial. Excellent communicator who will proactively build relationships with internal/external business units and contractors Currently hold IOSH Managing Safely or be prepared to carry out the course if successful Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations Understand and work with current Facility IT systems (SAP,SHIRE,Verature) Achieving success through Continuous Improvement Effective Communication skills (both written and verbal) Computer literate and proficient in all Microsoft packagesCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
