Our Client:Our client is a happy, cheeky, and playful individual who loves affection. He has learning disabilities and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome, which has led to epilepsy and developmental delays.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Support Worker, specifically in supporting individuals with behavioural needs, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and non-verbal communication.
In turn, we will provide you with comprehensive paid training on our client’s specific care needs, and ongoing support to help you succeed and love your new role.
Candidates must be confident and fluent in English. Our client leads an active and full life with a busy social calendar and loves getting out and about. They have a vehicle for their regular outings, so candidates must be drivers.
As a support worker for this client, you will enjoy an exciting work environment, using your initiative to plan diverse activities and adventures.
Your Role as a Support Worker:We have several positions available both wake-night and daytime support workers/care assistant.
Available shifts: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Daytime Support Worker: Assist with the client’s daily routine, regularly engage with the community, and use your initiative to make shifts fun and engaging.
Working Hours: 08:00 to 20:00
Wake-night Support Worker: Assist with the client’s bedtime routine and provide any required intervention overnight.
Working Hours: 20:00 to 08:00
Contract: Zero-hour contract, providing flexibility to choose your shifts around your commitments and pick up full-time hours when required.
