Interventions Specialist

Location: Lincoln

Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £85 - £100 per day

GSL Educationare currently seeking to appoint a qualified and enthusiastic Interventions Specialist for our client school in Lincoln. Interventions Specialist in schools play a diverse and essential role in supporting teachers and students, facilitating learning, and promoting academic achievement and personal development across various subjects and activities. Seize this chance to influence the next generation's development within GSL's creative and collaborative teaching atmosphere, receiving valuable support along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement targeted interventions to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers and other school staff to identify students in need of additional support.
  • Deliver personalized interventions tailored to the individual needs of students.
  • Monitor and track students' progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with families and external agencies to provide holistic support to students.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with students who require additional support.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with students facing challenges.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
