The Opportunity:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Production team working on the assembly line of high-tech, cutting edge products. As a team member, you'll be responsible for providing your expertise in preparing and finishing systems in Pre-pack before undergoing quality review for OIPT products. You'll work closely with the team to ensure that all products meet pre-defined schedules and world-class quality standards, and are ready for packing and shipping to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and complete finishing for systems in Pre-pack prior to completion of quality review. Co-ordinate with Test during incoming Quality inspection. Assist with Installing and decommissioning of systems as directed. Build systems, sub assemblies and piece parts to achieve build schedules and conform to ISO procedures whilst under close supervision During the training period develop levels of technical competence required to support promotion to a Grade 3 role Aim to continuously improve skill levels by increasing key skills competency as defined in the Departmental Skills Matrix / OI Quality standards Maintain good housekeeping and 5S initiatives Work on a rotating shift pattern in line with the rota notified to you by your Team Leader (unless otherwise stated in your contract of employment/terms and conditions) To carry out any other duties within the manufacturing department requested by management to support the production schedule Contribute to the performance of the Production Team through continuous improvements.

Education / Qualifications:

ONC or other professional qualification preferred but not essential

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

Detail fitting skills to a precision level Ability to read mechanical drawings Problem solving skills Good communication skills Accurate worker, who is not easily distracted Productive and focused. Understands the team goals and contributes towards them

PC skills Driving licence
