Functional Consultant, Cambridge

Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of quote to contract projects, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify pain points, and define project scope and objectives for both quote to contract initiatives and BAU enhancements. Conduct workshops and requirement elicitation sessions to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements for project deliverables. Define solution architectures, including system integrations, data flows, and user interfaces, leveraging industry best practices and emerging technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising business analysts, developers, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize enhancement requests, assess impact, and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to the project team during the implementation phase, including user training, testing, and deployment activities. Troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce CPQ and DocuSign configurations, providing timely resolutions and support to end-users.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a functional consultant, Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on leading quote to contract projects. Strong understanding of lead-to-quote processes, sales methodologies, and CRM concepts. Experience integrating DocuSign for contract management and electronic signature capabilities within Salesforce. Extensive experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, as well as quote to contract solutions such as Salesforce CPQ and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems. Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams and drive project delivery in a matrix organization. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with executives, business users, and technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering innovative solutions to complex business challenges. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, and Salesforce CPQ Specialist are preferred. DocuSign CLM certification is preferred.
