Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Admin Supervisor in the Vascular department. We are looking for an experienced Administrator who is enthusiastic, organised, dynamic, highly motivated and hardworking to join a busy, friendly and dedicated team.

The Vascular service within East Kent is currently merging with Medway. This post will be based at Kent and Canterbury hospital.

Main duties of the job

This role is busy and challenging. You must be highly motivated with excellent communication skills, the ability to use your own initiative and work well under pressure.

Line managing Band 3 administrators Provide comprehensive administrative support to consultants and their teams Work closely with the Kent and Canterbury MDM Co ordinator to ensure appropriate patients are discussed at MDM. Facilitate the MDM and action any outcomes. Support the Operational Managers in checking full utilisation of outpatient clinics. Undertake other clerical duties to ensure the smooth running of the office. Act as key point of contact for health service employees at all levels, both within the Trust and outside agencies.
