Premises Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises
  • Ensure the school grounds and buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair work, including liaising with contractors and suppliers
  • Manage security systems and procedures to protect the school premises
  • Supervise the premises team and allocate tasks effectively
  • Implement health and safety policies and procedures across the site
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations

Premises Manager Job Requirements:

  • Level 5 Estates Management and/or evidence of relevant continuous professional development
  • Health & Safety experience
  • NEBOSH Certificate
  • Strong organisational and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting
