Premises Manager Location: Hackney Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Are you a skilled Premises Manager looking for a new opportunity in Hackney? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Premises Manager to join our vibrant Secondary School & Sixth Form community. If you have a passion for maintaining a safe and efficient learning environment, we want to hear from you Premises Manager Job Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises Ensure the school grounds and buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained Coordinate maintenance and repair work, including liaising with contractors and suppliers Manage security systems and procedures to protect the school premises Supervise the premises team and allocate tasks effectively Implement health and safety policies and procedures across the site Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations Premises Manager Job Requirements: Level 5 Estates Management and/or evidence of relevant continuous professional development Health & Safety experience NEBOSH Certificate Strong organisational and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
