Premises Manager Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises
Ensure the school grounds and buildings are safe, clean, and well-maintained
Coordinate maintenance and repair work, including liaising with contractors and suppliers
Manage security systems and procedures to protect the school premises
Supervise the premises team and allocate tasks effectively
Implement health and safety policies and procedures across the site
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety inspections
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations
Premises Manager Job Requirements:
Level 5 Estates Management and/or evidence of relevant continuous professional development
Health & Safety experience
NEBOSH Certificate
Strong organisational and management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting
