Day in the life of:

The Cluster Marketing Manager is responsible for leading and
delivering proactive marketing efforts for the cluster, to drive direct revenue
and position the hotels’ reputation as leading venues in the region.



Working closely with the senior hotel management and
commercial team, you will be the creative force behind the hotels’ marketing
activities, executing the full marketing and PR plan for all segments in line with
hotel budgets and commercial strategies for full and focused service hotels.
The role will deliver ’best in class’ marketing campaigns through a variety of
channels locally and nationally, via public relations, events, partnerships,
digital marketing channels and advertising promotions. Collaboration will be
required with Group Marketing and hotel brands.



This is a hybrid role. You will be present at key times to boost awareness and
engagement and so occasional weekend or evening work will be necessary. When
there are multiple opportunities arising at once you will have an excellent
relationship and support network with the in-house teams or external partners in
order to gather content.

What we’re looking for

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as marketing manager at a full-service on-property or multi-site hospitality setting.
  • Experience of setting and managing marketing strategy and budgets.
  • Proven experience of overseeing and managing the full marketing mix across B2C and B2B platforms, including digital marketing, social media management, content planning, content management systems, multi-channel advertising, concept creation, media and influencer relations, and partnership management.
  • Communications and media relations experience.
  • Highly creative and innovative with an adaptable and resourceful mind-set.
  • Full UK driving licence – travel will be required to cluster venues and meetings.


Example key responsibilities:



  • Create and personally deliver on an annual
    strategic marketing and PR plan, and promotional calendar for the hotels,
    restaurants event spaces to agreed KPIs. Ensure the output supports
    the overall commercial strategy and delivers increased revenue.
  • Ensure the hotels and their outlets’ visual
    identity, assets and messaging are consistently delivered across internal and
    external communications.
  • Maintain an exceptional eye for detail and the
    creative ability to produce quality marketing communications from managing
    photoshoots and producing new collateral in-house or via agencies, to writing
    compelling email marketing campaigns, website copy or adverts.
  • Deliver digital marketing activity across PPC,
    SEO, social media and email marketing to drive visibility, engagement and
    enquiries or bookings. Manage the website content management systems and
    third-party listings.
  • Manage the cluster’s social media accounts
    across several channels, including content planning and creation, engagement,
    advertising and reporting.
  • Raise the profile of the properties through building a prestigious brand across the multiple outlets.
  • Maintain an overview of competitor activity and
    promotions, and the latest marketing trends.
  • Set and manage marketing budget, ensuring
    campaigns are cost-effective and delivered within agreed budget.
  • Report on digital and offline marketing activity
    ROI and provide recommendations to optimise performance.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and influence
    decision-making, including obtaining approvals from senior management.
  • Support the Group Marketing Manager, General
    Managers, and hotel commercial teams in the presentation of marketing activity
    to the hotels’ management company and ownership.
  • Develop a strong agency relationship with
    design, digital, print, influencer, photographers, PR agencies and destination
    management organisations to deliver successful partnerships.
  • Point of contact for PR related media and guest
    stays.
  • Ensure legal, privacy and accessibility
    requirements are understood and proactively managed.
