Learning & Development Administrator/Assistant
This is an opportunity to support the L&D Manager and Advisor in the administration of the Menzies Academy and Trainee Academy (soft skills modules), as well as ad hoc training related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to email inboxes (personal and Menzies Academy) in a timely manner, e.g. ensure that all external training requests are responded to and booked Provide day to day management and maintenance of our Learning Management System (Kallidus & Articulate). Perform accurate data entry to maintain records in electronic systems & databases. Assign e-learning and manage attendance reports. Update and manage Menzies Academy learning calendar Coordinate learning events as required. Liaise with course providers and facilitators pre and post events. Support the L&D Manager/Advisor with various projects & initiatives Provide administrative or project support to the HRD and other Managers, as seconded. Provide cover for Trainee Academy inbox in absence of L&D Assistant responsible for trainee administration.Required Skills & Knowledge
Experience of using Microsoft office is essential such as managing the outlook calendar, producing documents on Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent communication skills and demonstrable emotional intelligence (EQ). Highly organised and able to multitask with ease. Good analytical and data handling skills.Required Competencies
Makes effective use of Firm’s available resources to complete job responsibilities. (Commercial focus & Business Development) Ensures line manager and colleagues are kept up to date with progress on tasks (Proactive communications) Produces accurate work in a timely manner (Delivering quality results) Liaises closely with co-workers on delegated tasks bringing any problems to their attention in good time. (Developing relationships)Required Work Experience
A proven ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced working administrative environment. Experience of working with learning technologies or databases would be an advantage Experience of building collaborative relationships through effective communication in email, face to face and on the phone. Experience of generating reports and presenting data. Exposure to L&D desirable but not essentialTravel Requirements
Potential visits to other Menzies offices on an infrequent basis.
