ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

JWE Electrical Contractors located in Lathom, Ormskirk are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer. Established for over 10 years we are renown for working on some of the most prestigious electrical contracts around. This a very exciting position not to be missed, with ongoing training available. 

Job Summary:
  • Commercial, Agricultural and Industrial Electrical Engineer required.
  • 40hr week.
  • Immediate start.

JWE Job Portfolio Examples:
  • Works within the water treatment industry, including supply and instillation of UV reactors.
  • Multiple jobs within Agriculture, Commercial and Industrial sectors, covering maintenance, installation, and processing lines.
  • Electrical works on high security buildings throughout the UK.
  • Temporary electrical generators supplying off grid mains and hybrid power.

About the Role:
Mobile position working nationwide.  Carrying out facilities maintenance, PPM, testing and inspection at a range of agricultural, commercial & industrial sites. A typical day for you will be working on your own or as part of a team following out a range of electrical work such as: 
  • Electrical Installations 
  • Electrical Maintenance 
  • Electrical Inspection & Testing
  • Electrical Design
  • Electric Vehicle Charging 
  • Lightning Protection
  • LV & HV Power Distribution
  • Electrical Controls & Instrumentation
  • CCTV & Security 
  • Depot work will also be required for testing & repairing single phase and three phase equipment such as cabling and distribution.
  • Generator installation
  • Motor control

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience required.
  • Excellent customer service skills due to the calibre of projects.
  • Professional attitude and well presented – JWE uniform provided.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well as part of a team.
  • Proactive and able to solve problems efficiently.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Own tools required.
  • ECS Card, Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a qualified 18th edition electrician.
  • Candidate will also need familiarity with 3 phase generator applications.
