Job Description

Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Ormskirk, Lancashire

Salary: £45,000-£60,000 per annum + £100,000 OTE / 20% Bonus / 10% Pension

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our project development team. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for providing full project engineering services for new factories or factory overhauls, including feasibility, design, specification, procurement, installation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full project engineering services for new factories or factory overhauls
  • Work on international projects, including Malaysia, America, Brazil, and Argentina
  • Liaise with and manage interfaces with other engineering disciplines to develop full electrical systems designs
  • Prepare and manage the design deliverables of substation, MCC, control panel design packages, installation and cabling design, optimum protection setting determination, and test specifications
  • Work closely with CAD Engineers for design
  • Manage the procurement of equipment along with budgets
  • Manage onsite installation and commissioning, overseeing H&S
  • Away up to 15 weeks per year, up to 6 weeks per individual travel
  • Variety of bonuses available when working abroad through overtime and overseas expenses

Requirements:

  • Design Experience - LV and MV Systems
  • MCC/Control Panel Design
  • On Site Commissioning
  • Detailed Installation Design
  • PLC Knowledge (Schneider and Allen Bradley)
  • HMI/SCADA development experience
  • Degree or HND Level Education
