Electrical Installation and Commissioning Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join our Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and testing of capital equipment in various industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation, commissioning, and testing of capital equipment on customer sites, both within the UK and occasionally overseas.
  • Providing customer support while working on site and offering remote and onsite technical support as required.
  • Carrying out factory final assembly and strip-down and shipping preparation activities in line with production and customer deadlines.
  • Inspection, fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on industrial/capital equipment under the direction and support of the engineering team.
  • Training operators in the use and maintenance of the equipment.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve systems and presenting these to team members and participating in internal design reviews.
  • Assisting in the development of Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) for work undertaken.
Requirements:
  • Electrical installation and commissioning experience or background as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Electrical testing and fault finding skills.
  • Engineering qualification (degree/HND/BTEC) or relevant trade Apprenticeship, or be qualified by experience.
  • CSCS/ECS card desirable but not essential.
