L3Harris MAPPS (Bristol, Burgess Hill and Barrow-in-Furness) provides an Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) for the Royal Navy sub-surface and surface fleets, notably current Astute submarine and Queen Elizabeth Class (QEC) aircraft carriers, in-build Type 26 and Type 31 frigates. This software provides integrated monitoring and control of ship propulsion, electrical functions, auxiliaries and damage control machinery and systems.

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
Support and maintenance of Microsoft Project server includingEnterprise resources, including ratesProject metadata and enterprise custom fieldsCreation of enterprise workflowsInterface to Data Warehouse, Deltek Cobra and Jira Take ownership of and develop scheduling processes Deliver scheduling support to a range of projects as required Assist with continuous improvement of the PM functionWhat you’ll bring
The role of Senior Project Scheduler requires the following experience and skills:
5+ years’ experience in a similar role Experience with Microsoft Office, with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Project Experience of administering MS Project Service including enterprise resource pools, custom fields and permissions Experience in creating and managing dependencies between master and sub-project schedules Sound appreciation of the methods and tools used for planning and scheduling of engineering projects Conversant with project costing systems and project risk management Knowledge and application of Earned Value techniques Experience with PowerBI and data analysis techniques Previous line management experience preferredImportant to know
