KS1 General Teaching Assistant

 

Location: Penwortham, Preston 

Role: KS1 General Teaching Assistant 

Hours: Full Time, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm 

Pay Rate: Competitive, £12.90 - £13.50 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated KS1 General Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school located in Penwortham, Preston. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to work across Key Stage 1, supporting the educational and social development of young learners.

Responsibilities:

-          Assisting the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons.

-          Supporting individual and small groups of pupils in their learning activities.

-          Promoting a positive learning environment and ensuring the well-being of pupils.

-          Collaborating with colleagues to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom experience.

Requirements:

-          Passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.

-          Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with young learners.

-          Flexibility and adaptability to work collaboratively within a team.

-          Experience in supporting Key Stage 1 (desirable but not essential).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
