Due to the increase in treatments and care we give to our patients, we have a new permanent opportunity for a Patient Admissions - Healthcare Assistant to join our Theatre team based our unit based at the Royal South Hants hospital, Southampton.
Are you a Healthcare Assistant with strong administration skills who can effectively ensure a patient’s pathway? How often in your healthcare experience have you performed case management responsibilities on behalf a patient? Are you able to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, yet still ensure every step of every administration process is covered from start to finish?The Patient Admissions - Healthcare Assistant is fundamental in supporting the patient pathway and enhancing the patients clinical experience, by performing effective pre-operative case management, co-ordination and administration tasks leading up to and including the day of surgery.
This is a permanent position, working 4-day week
shift patterns will be from Monday to Saturday
3 days from 07:00 to 17:00
1 day from 07:00 to 16:30
